notes for the week of
Saturday, March 17th, 2018

Hello all!

The garlic is actually growing in this weather, up to about 5 inches tall. Even some of last Fall's abandoned scallions are perking up in the foreground. Spring will come!

Farm news...
It seems like every day is back and forth, weather-wise. This past Sunday morning we awoke to 10 degrees, but the sun came out and it warmed up to about 40... positively balmy! I took a nice walk down along the creek and back around by the pond.

Chris and I got away for a date last week. We drove up to State College on Friday afternoon, walked across campus in blustery 25-degree weather, visited their art museum, made an obligatory stop at the Creamery (in spite of the temperature!), book-browsed at Barnes & Noble, then went out to dinner at Happy Valley Brewing Co. All fun.

Sam's getting back into spring mode here, but still thinking a lot about his trip to AZ & UT with Anna, which they just got home from before our last delivery to DC. (Pics at the bottom of the page.)

Please tell your friends...
We're open for new members and would love to welcome them!

This week's produce ... (new or back, on sale!)
